OLD MOROCCAN

Woven by the Beni Ouarain, a confederation of 17 Berber tribes living in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco with a distinctively archaic espresso colored design, with abstract motifs in green, yellow and coral red on an ivory background.  Beni Ouarain carpets are prized by collectors and decorators for their mesmerizing geometric designs and shaggy pile.
