OLD MOROCCAN

Woven by the Beni Ouarain, a confederation of 17 Berber tribes living in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco with a distinctively archaic black colored border design on a plain ivory background.  Beni Ouarain carpets are prized by collectors and decorators for their mesmerizing geometric designs and shaggy pile.
